Using the experience gained across two departments, to become a source of support

General Affairs Department and Administration Department Their Work

I currently work in both the General Affairs and Administration Departments. In General Affairs, I take accounting work and generate documentation with help from more experienced employees. In Administration, I take requests for estimates from customers and calculate the cost of materials and labor to put together a process. Then, if the project is decided, I participate in on-site supervision, mostly in commercial facility interior construction.
On-site, I help carry in and install our products. A lot of projects are more than just setting things in place, they're difficult installations requiring special techniques. Other than that, I order work like floor, wall and ceiling finishing, equipment or electrical installation from specialist partner companies. I take extra care of the details to help make sure work on-site, which involves so many people, proceeds safely, smoothly and on-plan.

The work site needs the cooperation of many

The real thrill of this job is getting to meet so many different specialists with all of their different skills. When one site is finished I can move on to the next, where even more new faces await. Making new connections can be nerve-wracking, but it's really rewarding. Something I've realized recently is that to really make things well, you absolutely need good communication with those around you. I used to work in the food industry, and I have a little confidence in my communication skills. I like to think I can use that outside experience to bring a positive atmosphere to the work site.

I want to learn and gain real skill

At all of the worksites I've been on, the building was completed with the work of outside experts. I am always so impressed with their incredible work, and at the same time I think "I have to study more! I have to grow more!"
Right now, I'm studying to get my Authorized Builder and Construction Management Skill certifications. Among all of these different facilities, some proposals are really ahead of their time and deeply impressive. There's even a chance I could be put in charge of a project unlike any I've done before. That's why I want to learn enough that I can do high quality work, no matter what project comes.

Days off mean a drive with my camera

I like cameras. On my days off I like to go driving with my camera. I've toured all over Hokkaido finding the best photo spots since I started photography. Hokkaido has so much beautiful natural scenery that it's a treasure chest of photo spots. There is so much scenery you can enjoy in all four seasons, like the Blue Pond or Shikisai-no-Oka in Biei, or Furano's famous flower field Patchwork Road. And you can photograph the beautiful sunsets and night views in Otaru, Muroran and Hakodate. My favorite night view lately is from Mt. Moiwa, local to Sapporo. I also love to eat, so I also look forward to finding delicious restaurants on my drives, too.
